This is a variation of the "amazing all bands receiver" that can be found on the internet.
My version can be powered from a single AAA cell and gives speaker
volume, although not so sensitive when a speaker is used, so you have
to put the receiver antenna near the interference source. This may be
thought as an advantage if you are trying to locate better the actual
source of the interference within a few centimeters or tens of
centimeters. I used 100nF for all the audio coupling capacitors because
I had lots of them available. I have also used BC549C for all the
transistors. In the final version I did not use the 2k potentiometer, I
only used a 2.2K resistor in place and took the output directly from
the collector of the final transistor.
